2012 U.S. House of Representatives Election Information
The U.S. House of Representatives consists of 435 members, with nine Arizona seats up for grabs in this, the first election since congressional districts were redrawn earlier this year using population data resulting from teh 2012 U.S. Census.
Neither seat representing East Valley constituents features an incumbent, with two Republicans and one Democrat running in the new District 5, and seven Republicans and three Democrats running in the new District 9.
Primary elections are scheduled for Aug. 28, 2012, with the general election following on Nov. 6, 2012.
