A lot of history: Lawn Griffiths, a former East Valley Tribune columnist and religion writer and 26-year member of the Kiwanis Club of Tempe, released on Thursday a book he had been working on since 2009: “The Club of Clubs: The 60-year History of the Kiwanis club of Tempe, 1952-2012. The 306-page book chronicles the history of the community service group and its dedicated members through the years and contains many photographs. (Tribune photo, Mike Sakal).
