It’s time to cast a show and the production team isn’t getting along. The director can’t make a decision, the costumer and choreographer aren’t speaking to one another, and the stage manager doesn’t like anyone or anything! A new producer is hired to try and rally the troops in time for audition day.  This “show within a show” puts the audience in the director’s chair as we go from auditions to a full-fledged musical production.
