This is one of our most popular classes and it's all because West Coast Swing is a widely popular dance amongst all ages! It's slot style of dancing makes it a perfect social dance, allowing partners to create fun movements and rhythm changes in a limited amount of space. It is also very versatile in terms of music. West Coast Swing can be danced to country western, blues, jazz, hiphop, r&b, and many other styles of music. You can literally take this dance anywhere! So no matter where you head out to dance, West Coast Swing is perfect to get you up and groovin' on the floor!

We've re-vamped our format for this class to better serve the growing interest in this highly social dance. From 7pm to 7:30pm, we will be hosting a West Coast Swing Beginners session, allowing all of our first-timers to learn their fundamentals, such as basics, passes, etc. This is the perfect chance for new dancers to feel comfortable on the floor, before our 7:30-8pm introduction of various other elements such as whips, syncopations, and various hand switches. Then from 8pm to 8:30pm, we will work on a more challenging step using the elements introduced throughout the night.

The cost for this class is $10 for the entire hour and a half, or just $7 for either the 7-8 or 7:30-8:30 sessions. You do not need a partner for either session!
