Passionate about guests’ well-being and creating unique learning experiences for travelers, JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort has developed an innovative spa concept with its new Farm-to-Treatment Table program being offered at its luxurious Revive Spa.
Every Saturday at 10 a.m. guests will receive a one-hour guided tour of the 4,200-square-foot Revive Herb Garden from the property’s horticulturist to see, touch and smell the different herbs and plants used in resort spa treatments. Following the tour, spa-goers will enjoy a 50-minute Revive Massage utilizing fresh-from-the-garden herbal massage oil blended by a local third-generation botanist in Sedona.
A refreshing beverage made with seasonal garden ingredients such as a mint raspberry mocktail or Meyer lemonade infused with rosemary completes the experience.
The Farm-to-Treatment Table experience is available on Saturdays only for a discounted $135 during July and August at Revive Spa. For spa appointments call 480-293-3700.
Revive Spa at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort features a two-story rotunda with a soothing water feature that flows underneath an open sky light. The earth-to-sky connection celebrates the resort's one-of-a-kind setting and embraces the splendor of the outdoors.
Freshness continues to thrive at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort with its 4,200-square-foot organic garden providing a cornucopia of seasonal ingredients for its themed restaurants and Revive Spa including Mexican tomatillos, squash blossoms, rainbow Swiss chard, kumquats, lolla rossa greens, lavender, lemon balm and fresh herbs featuring sage and thyme.
The inviting garden offers an ideal place for resort guests to relax. Benches, fragrant potted herbs blossoming under a shady Palo Verde tree, row upon row of brightly-colored produce, a hand-placed stone sculpture and decorative bronze gates make the beautiful garden a rejuvenating retreat.
The largest luxury resort in Arizona features 950 newly remodeled guestrooms (including 81 suites), 240,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, 10 dining experiences, Revive Spa -- a 28,000-square-foot facility recognized by Condé Nast Traveler magazine readers as one of the Top Resort Spas in the United States -- eight tennis courts and four acres of elaborately landscaped pools including the popular Lazy River with serpentine slide, two championship golf courses and Wildfire Golf Club, home of the RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup event.
