Allegiant Air has added nonstop jet service between Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and Colorado Springs, Colo., with one-way fares starting at $29.99. The flights will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The Las Vegas-based airline also added service between Colorado Springs and Long Beach, Calif.
"The Allegiant service to Las Vegas has been a very successful route at Colorado Springs Airport," Mark Earle, the airport's aviation director, said Thursday in a statement. "The addition of new nonstop Allegiant service to Phoenix and Long Beach means our customers will now have low-cost service to three of our top destinations."

[beam] Oh, how convenient! Doesn't Allegiant Air fly into Phx-Mesa Gateway (Williams Field) close-by to where the East Mesa Immigration processing facility is located?? Just think of all the illegals ICE turns back into the community for some reason or other. They'll be able to hop a flight to CO or CA (and other places out of AZ) with no more inconvience to them at all.

OK,
I'm currently on a project in Colorado Springs until around the beginning of Sept. If I can fly home on the weekends for $30.00 that would be great!
Only problem is that I would have to wait until Wednesday to get back.... not great...

[sad] Not again, I don't care if it's a joke or not, bringing up illegal immigration in an article about new airline service..signs of a twisted mind.
