Smith, Hallman, and Parker should ask Michael Monti how that Republican thing is working out in the East Valley.

American Future Fund recently released a political add in Arizona for Vernon Parker. Who is American Future Fund. American Future Fund is an Iowa based 501(c)(4) tax-exempt organization. "AFF enjoys a tax status from the Internal Revenue Service as a social welfare, tax-free 501(c)(4) organization, which permits it to accept secret donations and engage in some political advocacy." AFF's heavy spending on politics (9.6 billion) begs the question: is its primary function social welfare, as the IRS intended, or political activity? If it's main purpose is to support Social Welfare as their name implies then they need to change their tune concerning Democratic Candidate Kyrsten Sinema who happens to support social programs.
To qualify for this special status, an organization cannot spend the majority of its money on politics, and its primary advocacy must be on issues. AFF was founded by individuals who worked for Mitt Romney's 2008 Presidential Run. Nick Ryan founded the organization in 2007 , with Nicole Schlinger,( a GOP leader in Iowa) as its president. Its current president is Iowa Republican state Senator Sandra Greiner. These individuals do not support social programs and purport the end of social security and medicare. The organization also has close affiliation and networked to the Koch Brothers and Karl Rove. It's Ironic that it would have a social welfare status with the IRS as it's priorities are to eliminate social security and medicare for our seniors. Recently, abcnews15 advocated the suspension of adds against Vernon Parker aired by the DCCC claiming the ad to be misleading in that Vernon Parker never stated that he would eliminate social security or medicare. He didn't have to. AFF is doing the talking for him.
Remember the donations Romney claimed on his tax return to Charities. The American Future Fund is considered to be one of those Charitable Donations that Corporations like Bain and millionaires like Romney can make in order to elect politicians Vernon Parker. Tell Iowa, the Kock Brothers and Karl Rove no. We don't need their outside influence telling Vernon Parker how to vote.
