Authorities say three people were arrested during a "tea party" rally, including a man allegedly intimidating people at the event.

The Department of Public Safety says 39-year-old Timothy R. Coomer was detained for trespassing on the Senate lawn Friday evening.

Officer Bob Bailey says that Coomer was allegedly bothering people in the front row of the rally held on the Senate and House lawns.

He says Coomer became belligerent when police and event organizers asked him to leave and was taken into custody.

The Arizona Republic says no details were immediately available on the other two arrest.

The rally was hosted by the Arizona chapter of Americans for Prosperity and allied tea party groups.

Yes ArizonaCentral, look up the law on trespassing and you'll see that when you are ask to leave private property and you refuse, you are guilty of trespassing. Third degree trespassing is the label given to a crime that occurs when a person stays at a private residence or piece of property after they have been asked to leave. I see they didn't add disturbing the peace to his arrest. So I guess they were lenient on him.

How many other people where on the Senate and House lawns, and I guess they can invite you and then charge you with trespassing when it is convenient for them to do so, and arrest you for resisting arrest. LOL!

The left's idea of exorcising their right to free speech is screaming into a megaphone at a tea party rally so that no one can hear the speakers speech. Dale, the right to free speech isn't about denying others you don't agree with the right to free speech. When the opposition has a rally, you wont see a tea partier there trying to drown out their speakers voice. The left is made up of uncouth trolls.

Who wants to bet on which side, the left or right, these three thugs represent?

"was allegedly bothering people in the front row of the rally held on the Senate and House lawns."

Wonder what "bothering people" means? Exercising his first amendment rights to speak out "on the Senate and House lawns?"

"Coomer became belligerent when police and event organizers asked him to leave." Sounds to me like the Tea Party needs to be more tollerant. "no details were immediately available on the other two arrest." I wonder why? Where those details even more questionable that these?
