Mesa’s Solid Waste Management Department has set up four temporary locations for residents to recycle election campaign signs.

Plastic “coroplast” signs are not accepted in Mesa’s blue recycle barrel. But until Nov. 18, the following locations will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week:

• Solid Waste Management Department, 730 N. Mesa Drive.

• Dobson Ranch Recycling Drop-off Center, 2363 S. Dobson Road.

• East Mesa Recycling Drop-off Center, 6935 E. Decatur St.

• Juanita/Country Club Park-and-Ride Lot, 1830 S. Country Club Drive.

Before recycling signs, all wooden and metal stakes should be removed. Paper campaign signs can be recycled in the blue barrel but all wooden and metal stakes must first be removed as well.

For information, call (480) 644-2221 or visit www.mesarecycles.org.
