Quayle's loss had nothing to do with redistricting. He lost because he is incompetent, arrogant, and corrupt.

Quayle won two years ago because of the huge vote splitting among 9 candidates. If there would have been a runoff, the outcome two years ago would have been the same as today.
Just another example of why we need "preferential ballots." A ballot which lets us specify our 1st through nth choices. Ballots like this can be tallied up to a clear, 50% winner.

I'm an Independent voter, voted in the Republican primary just to vote against Quaye.

I think a lot of Quayle's defeat goes to stupidity too! After all Ben Quayle is the worst congressman ever and he got worst. Plus the fact that he's the son of the worst VP ever. Maybe it was just hereditary!
