  Right from the "get-go"....you know where this story is going when the reporter calls Republican Arizona Senate President Russell Pearce an ....."IMMIGRATION HARD-LINER".
  More than 2/3rds of Arizona Voters don't think that Senator Russell Pearce is an "IMMIGRATION HARD-LINER".
  More than 2/3rds of Americn Voters approve of Arizona SB 1070.
  The States of ILLINOIS, MARYLAND, MINNESOTA, GEORGIA, OKLAHOMA, OHIO, COLORADO, RHODE ISLAND, TEXAS, NEBRASKA, KANSAS, NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA and ALABAMA.....don't think that Senator Russell Pearce is a hardliner.....they are considering similar ...SB1070- type Immigration Legislation.
  Councilman Kavanaugh's District is heavily Democrat and has the highest concentration of Mexican Illegal Aliens in Mesa...what would you expect him to say?

  Don't you just love Mayor Scott Smith's call for ..."CIVIL DISCOURSE".

  Ask yourself would Mesa be having the Illegal Alien sweeps, the crime problems, the drugs, the Identity Thefts, the Drop Houses, the Kidnappings, the Purse Snatching, the Assaults, the Rapes, the Car Thefts....that it has today if Mayor Scott Smith, the past Mesa City Council and ex-Mesa Police Chief George Gascon.... hadn't have decided to make Mesa a.........SANCTUARY CITY......year ago ??????????????
