Opponents have asked a federal judge to delay Arizona authorities from enforcing the most contentious section of the state's heavily debated immigration law.
A Sept. 5 ruling by U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton cleared the way for police to carry out the requirement that officers question the immigration status of those they suspect are in the country illegally while enforcing other laws.
The provision is expected to go into effect soon, once Bolton finalizes her order.
But a coalition of civil rights, religious and business groups on Thursday filed an eight-page emergency motion for an injunction pending appeal.
Critics have assailed the "show me your papers" provision, saying it paves the way for ethnic discrimination and racial profiling, providing officers a justification for stopping people based on how they look.

"jimnbubba" is right. This has been through the courts over and over again. When, if ever, does the legal wrangling stop and the law start being enforced? We, as Americans, have rights too. We have the right for our laws to be enforced. Of course, no one ever thinks of that.

If any U.S. citizen goes out of country they had better have a passport or go to jail or be deported. Why does AZ. give these illegal aliens a free pass. It is a waste of taxpayer dollars or are the politicians making money off of this. Maybe they are in with the cartels. The more drugs they let in the more money they make. Maybe we should start investigating our politicians and law enforcment. Sherriff joe arrests dishwashers and landscapers. Maybe the cartels are paying him off. Where did he get the millions of campaign dollars. WE THE PEOPLE NEED TO TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK!

Ok, I believe Bolton was the one who ruled against it in the first place, the Supremes said this part was legal and she has agreed.
I guess we need to judge shop for Obamacare and keep getting injunctions ad infinitum.

ICE is under orders to release any illegal not currently under investigation or possessing a felonious record. It was my understanding that crossing the border illegally is a crime unto itself. The marxist-in-chief, with his dictatorial outlook, is currently writing and executing orders al will. The POTUS is guilty of "CRIMES & MISDEMEANORS", and must be held accountable.

Owebama’s economic, unemployment and immigration plan.
Owebama and his Fleabaggers Party do have a plan to fix the economy, lower unemployment and deal with the Illegal Mexican Occupiers (IMO). He won't state his plan but I have it from the very same reliable source Harry Reid has. Owebama's plan is to reduce the American standard of living to equal that of Mexico. This would solve the illegal Mexican occupiers problem because they will self deport. And it will lower our unemployment rate because America's unemployed will then sneek accross the border into Mexico without documents and look for work while hanging out at the Home Depot parking lot in Mexico City.
