Volunteers at Mi Familia Vota, an organization that has registered thousands of voters in Arizona in recent months, prepare to walk the streets of Phoenix to register Latino voters for the November election. The group is focusing on registration for the permanent early voter list, which allows voters to have ballots mailed to them. Voters on the list have 26 days to cast their ballot.
Yvette Saenz, 19, a Mi Familia Vota volunteer, registers Guadalupe and Manuel Mercado for the permanent early voter list as their grandson, Alex Mercado, watches. Saenz also registered two other family members in the house.
