Nighttime vigils are being held in Tucson and Phoenix for Arizona Congressman Gabrielle Giffords and other victims of the shootings Saturday in Tucson.
Giffords was shot in the head by a gunman who opened fire outside a grocery store during a meeting with voters, killing a federal judge and four others. The death toll includes a 9-year-old girl, a federal judge, and a staffer for the Democratic congresswoman.
Giffords is among at least 10 people wounded. She's reported to be in critical condition at a Tucson hospital after emergency surgery.
Vigils are scheduled at the State Capitol in Phoenix, outside Giffords' district office in Tucson and at St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Tucson.
