Maricopa County election officials say the wrong date was printed on several Spanish-language mailings containing new voter registration cards.

County Recorder Helen Purcell said earlier this week officials found nearly 50 cards had an incorrect date for the November election.

Officials have mailed nearly 2 million voter-ID cards throughout Maricopa County. The issue came up when a voter recently came to the election department noticed the error and requested an updated card.

Purcell’s office says their program has been updated to reflect the right dates in both English and Spanish.
