Good luck with that. My family stopped going camping and four-wheeling years ago when we were conftonted by about 20 drunken louts in camoflauge on Four Peaks years ago. These (N)ational (R)epublican (A)rmy survivslists basically ordered us off their mountain or else.
The mentality of our Arizona gun nuts is sc*&# you, I'll shoot anything and everything in the desert I want by-cracky as anyone who dares to venture out can see ( the ground littered with spent shells), our majestic rare saguaros riddled with bullet holes, nary a sign intact, and campgrounds overpopulated with ignorant armed drunks endangering you and your families.

Bingo, you're right - there are plenty of shooters out there with no respect for the environment. On the other hand, there are also quite a few who try to make up for them... every time I go out, I take trash bags with me and try to pack out more than I took in with me.
Unfortunately, it doesn't take many bad ones to ruin it for everybody.
