FILE -- In this Nov. 8, 2011, file photo, Arizona State Sen. Russell Pearce, R-Mesa, left, joins Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpiao during a press conference in Mesa, Ariz. Pearce, the sponsor of Arizona's groundbreaking SB1070 immigration enforcement law, and a close ally of the sheriff, was pushed out of politics in a recent recall election, leaving Arpaio the last man standing of the three Phoenix politicians who made Arizona a leader in the crackdown against illegal immigration. The liberals are selling us out. What is wrong with enforcing our immigration laws. We are on our way to becoming a 3rd world nation.

I'm wondering if judge Bolton isn't playing politics and hoping to get appointed to a higher court

I thought I had read that a court had ruled SB 1070 could proceed because there was no discrimination that had occurred. Arguing that discrimination was possible wasn't proof of discrimination.
So why aren't they enforcing the law?
It looks like they are standing around waiting for someone to file a lawsuit and get a ruling stopping them.
They seem to be saying ' please don't make us enforce this law '. Even Arpaio is sitting on his hands.
