Having lived in small-town Maine for 5 years I would suggest to boomers and retirees; rent first! If you've never experienced small-town anywhere, you better live there a while before investing too much, as some towns are not as welcoming as they seem.

The reason boomers, businesses, and millions of other people do not want to reside in Arizona, or did reside but are leaving, is because of the aerosol spraying taking place in our skies. Our weather is "Geo-Engineered" more than any other state, and our air is filled with heavy metals and toxins because of it. It doesn't take a genius to figure out why people intentionally want to avoid that.

My father is the CEO/VP of three major companies: Inductotherm, Thermatool and Inductoheat. He wants to move all three of them to Arizona and cut all ties with unions, which would create 10s of thousands of jobs for AZ. But he won't do it because of the sick disgusting Chemtrail activity...Google Chemtrails, don't take my word for it.
