Fire restrictions have been lifted at Grand Canyon National Park.

Officials said Friday that monsoonal weather patterns have moved into the Grand Canyon area and decreased fire danger.

In early June, Grand Canyon's South Rim implemented a ban on all wood burning fires due to extremely hot and dry conditions.

But in recent days officials say weather conditions have helped.

Officials still urged visitors to be cautious.
