(AP) — Authorities say former NBA player Isaiah Rider has been arrested on suspicion of a probation violation in a Phoenix suburb.
Mesa police took the 40-year-old Rider into custody Tuesday afternoon.
The Arizona Republic says Rider had been reinstated to probation three times.
Court records show Rider had been ordered to re-start domestic violence treatment and did not show up to three consecutive sessions.
Authorities say Rider also completed only 10 of the 100 ordered hours of community service and failed to provide a urine sample on Sept. 19.
His revocation arraignment has been set for Oct. 11.
It was unclear Thursday whether Rider had a lawyer for his latest case.
Rider's nine-year NBA career ended in 2001. He played for Minnesota, Portland, Atlanta, Denver and the Los Angeles Lakers.
