(AP) — Florida forward Erik Murphy has been cleared to play after missing the last three games with a knee injury.

Coach Billy Donovan says Murphy, a 6-foot-10 junior averaging 10.0 points and 4.0 rebounds, is expected to play when the 12th-ranked Gators host Arizona on Wednesday night.

Murphy sustained a torn meniscus in his right knee in practice Nov. 24, and missed games against Jacksonville, Stetson and No. 3 Syracuse.

Donovan says Murphy worked out Sunday and felt fine after running. He says Murphy will have limited contact in practice Monday and Tuesday, adding that a setback is the only thing that would prevent Murphy from playing against the Wildcats.

The Gators were outrebounded 40-33 in a 72-68 loss at Syracuse on Friday, clearly missing Murphy's inside presence.
